Giuseppe Galloppo

Green Initiatives and Stock Market Reaction of Italian SMEs

Giuseppe Galloppo is a Professor of Finance at the Tuscia University of Viterbo and a Research Fellow at Ceis Foundation at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He has a Ph.D. in Banking and Finance (the University of Rome Tor Vergata). His research revolves around asset allocation, risk management, and the econometrics of financial markets. Additionally, he has worked as a member of several research teams, including the CNR National Council of Research, the Statistical Information Commission, and the ASEAN Observatory for the Italian Foreign Office Ministry. Furthermore, he has been a member of the G20 group for the Revitalizing Anemic Europe project at University of Roma Tor Vergata and is a member of the FINEST Network – Financial Intermediation Network of European Studies.

Furthermore, he has been Head of Research in a Multi-Family Office and a Quantitative Asset Allocation Manager in the Wealth Management Industry. He has published scientific papers in several top academic journals (e.g., JFS – Journal of Financial Stability, JOR – Journal of Operational Risk, EJF – European Journal of Finance and several Top journals in Sustainability and Climate Finance). Research areas covered are Asset Allocation, Portfolio Model Risk Management and Econometrics of Financial Markets. He worked as a member of several research teams focused on different topics: Territorial Strategic Develop Economic Plans for CNR National Council of Research, public transport statistics system for Statistical Information Commission –Presidency of Prime Minister Authority, ASEAN Observatory and ASEAN Awareness Forum for Italian Foreign Office Ministry.
